Sure my name isn't Anthony Bourdain, but I would like to think that I have explored all of the delicacies that the city of Columbus has to offer.

First stop, Tommy's Famous Pizza on Lane Avenue.

What's one food choice that satisfies any craving: morning, afternoon, and/or late night?

Yes, that's right, the answer is Pizza.

Before coming to Ohio State I thought that pizza came in one design, the traditional pie-cut slice. But since I'm from Florida, I was completely naive to the concept of block pieces. This new excitement became a part of my pizza adventure when I went with my dad to Tommy's Pizza for the first time in 2002.

While I was on campus with my dad, a passionate alumni of OSU, for the Ohio State vs. Michigan game, my dad insisted that I try "the greatest pizza" on campus for good karma before the game. Not aware of all of the other options on campus, I accepted his suggestion, and boy was it incredible.

Tommy's pizza has been sitting on Lane Avenue for over 50 years and has no intentions of leaving any time soon. And it better not.  In my opinion, no one does it better than Tommy's. No other place on campus can provide students and pizza lovers alike the chance to experience incredible box-cut pizza while sitting around old OSU football and athletics paraphernalia. Ok, so enough of the words, this is what the pizza looks like:

Yeah, I know. How good does that look? Unfortunately, unlike Anthony Bourdain I cannot tease you with a shot of me eating this pizza because by the time I get the camera, the pizza will already be gone.

Check it out whenever you get a chance, you will be happy you did and so will you stomach!
