Don’t know how it happens every quarter, but school starts and I go into super-organized, super-energized, super-enthused puzzle mode: where do I have to be what do I have to do what do I have to wear what next do I have all my supplies all my books write everything in my planner color code organize designate...repeat.

I wish this wasn’t just a temporary mechanism.  I find myself able to accomplish superhuman feats within the first two weeks of every quarter.  Getting up early, class, working out, doctor appointment, working 'til midnight.  Back and forth and all over campus.  It’s exciting though!  I don’t even care that the weather is dreary!  And honestly I’ll take whatever internal drives I can summon since this summer seemed to be only id, id, id.  If I got nothing else out of Psych 100, I at least learned that Freud had a few things right about the basic way I operate. 

So now it’s time to be the responsible, grown-up, put together, organized, well-rounded, 20-year-old ggrrrllllll that my parents raised me to be.  Maybe this version of me will stick around for a while.

Alas, on to doing more things.  I have my first hip-hop class in an hour.  Too bad I am so sore from working out yesterday for the first time in ages.  Wish me luck!
